MERGENCY OPERATION
10.0 Emergency sunshade operation
If the electric drive breaks down or is overloaded,
you can:
• close the canopy using the winch handle
supplied with the sunshade
• after you have removed the battery pack,
wait around 10 seconds and then carefully
retract the slider tube by hand
Before carrying out emergency operations,
always check the battery pack charge level.
If the battery pack is discharged, first charge it
and then test the function once again.
After the sunshade has been closed manually,
you must always carry out readjustment of the
opening mechanics (see chapter "Adjusting the
opening mechanics")
10.1 Emergency operation
Before closing the sunshade in an emergency
operation, check the battery pack charge level
by operating the remote control.
Checking the battery pack for charging level:
If you start to operate the remote control, a beep
tone will give you information about the charging
level of the battery pack.

two beep tones = battery pack discharged
Closing the canopy:
➭ Remove the protective cap from the
winch handle housing.
