ETTING UP THE SUNSHADE

7.0 Setting up the Sunshade

Caution: Danger of accident!
• It is easier if you can get a second person to help
when setting up the sunshade.
• Ensure that the Parasol base or Bottom pole is
secure and stable before setting up the sunshade.
➭ Place the sunshade with its stand tube
into the stand tube seat of the Parasol
base or Bottom pole.
➭ Push the stand tube in as far as the
stop in the stand tube seat.
➭ Clamp the sunshade by tightening the
union nut in the stand tube seat.

8.0 Charging the battery pack

Caution: Injury hazard!
• Used or defective battery packs may not be opened.
• Only use the original charging device supplied with the sunshade
to charge the battery pack.
• Use the battery charging device only in enclosed rooms.
• Detective charging devices may not be opened or repaired.
Use only originalSUN-GARDEN spare equipment.
Note
• Only charge completely discharged battery packs.
• Do not interrupt the charging process.
Only remove completely charged battery packs (green LED) from the
battery charger.
• Always remove the battery pack from the sunshade before charging.
• Only charge the battery pack in enclosed rooms.
Note
Battery packs are hazardous waste!
• Only dispose of used battery packs at a suitable waste disposal centre.
