10.2 Basic operation via the touch screen

Since the gateway is running on the Android
system, the touch screen operation is similar to a regular
Android smartphone.

In the default setting, the display turns off after a few sec-
onds, with the time and date shown on the black background.
Tapping the touch screen activates the display.
Swiping up on the touch screen displays other pages of the
home screen on which you can later set up other devices
for control.
Swiping to the right takes you to the Scenes page. Scenes
can be created in the app. Swipe down to refresh the page.
Swiping to the left displays all devices connected to your
app. Swiping up here also displays successively the indi-
vidual rooms that you can configure in the app. Swipe down
to refresh the page.
Swiping down from the top edge of the display (as on an
Android

smartphone) opens the settings menu.
