The gateway starts the operating system. This takes about

During the initial setup, the control panel must be connect-
ed to the app. Therefore, before you proceed with the initial
setup, we recommend that you first install the "Smart Life
- Smart Living" app on your smartphone and set it up until
the point where the gateway is to be connected.
You can download the instructions for the app from our
website. Please refer to chapter 3 "Latest information on
the product".

10.1 Initial setup

Once the gateway is started, the display shows a welcome
screen. Tap the right arrow to continue.
First, choose your desired language by tapping on it.
Now set the region. Find the desired region in the list by swip-
ing up or down and then tap on it.
Now tap on the line "Wireless network disconnected".
If the Wi-Fi is switched off, tap the slider at the top left to ac-
tivate it. Now choose the Wi-Fi network to which you want to
connect the gateway and tap on it. Your smartphone with the
installed "Smart Life - Smart Living" app and the gateway
must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
