- Please ensure that there is enough free cable length available from the DE nozzle in order to
fit CE nozzles.
- First mount all the nozzles in the desired position so that the cable can easily be conducted
through the housings of all nozzles. Please ensure that the DE nozzle with the cable is at the
end of the chain.
- Run the high-voltage cable through the housings of the CE nozzles. Please make sure that
the cables are not kinked or placed alongside sharp parts.
- Use a 3/16" socket spanner to fasten the high-voltage points. The points press into the high-
voltage cable in order to make contact with the cable core.
- Check if all the nozzles are mounted correctly and that the cable is undamaged.

5.5 Connecting the compressed air

Please note:
- The compressed air to be used must be clean, dry and free of grease.
The use of an air filter is recommended.
The ionising nozzles including any supplied stopcocks are provided with a 1/8 BSP(T)
compressed air connection.
The user is to provide the connection materials.
Both plastic and metal hoses may be used for connection, which must be suitable for the
compressed air to be used.
