5 Installation

Warning:
- Electrical installation and repairs must be carried out by a skilled electrical engineer
according to the applicable national and local regulations.
- Disconnect the power supply before carrying out work on the unit.
- Please refer to the manual of the corresponding power supply unit in order to correctly
and safely connect the ionising nozzle.
- The power supply unit of the ionising nozzle must be well grounded. Grounding is
necessary for proper operation of the equipment and prevents electrical shocks when
touched.
- Do not mount nozzles close to metal parts.
- The air outlet of the ionising nozzle must be mounted at a distance of at least 2 cm
from metal parts. Metal parts in the vicinity of the emitter point will reduce the ionising
effect of the nozzle.
- Mounting the ionising nozzles on the plastic mounting strip (do not install a metal
bracket around the nozzle and do not replace the plastic air connection with a metal
one).
- Please make sure that the high-voltage cable is free from kinks and/or sharp bends.
Those could damage the cable.
- Do not place non-shielded high-voltage cables alongside sharp metal parts.

5.1 Prior check

- Check that the equipment has been received undamaged and is the correct version.
- Check that the packing slip information matches the data of the received product.
