3 Safety

The following safety guidelines must be observed in order to prevent physical injury and
damage to objects or to the ionizing air nozzle itself.
Warning:
- Electrical installation must be in accordance with national and local regulations.
- The ionisation nozzle must not be used near a fire or explosion hazardous environment.
- The ionising nozzle is only intended to blow clean and simultaneously neutralise
electrostatically charged surfaces. Any other use is not recommended.
- Electrical installation and repairs must be carried out by a skilled electrical engineer
according to the applicable national and local regulations.
- Please refer to the manual of the corresponding power supply unit in order to correctly and
safely connect the ionising nozzle.
- Disconnect the power supply before carrying out work on the unit.
- The electric current of the ionising nozzle is limited to 0.5 mA. As a result, the emitter points -
which are connected to high-voltage - are not shock-free but touch-safe.
- During the ionisation process, a small amount of ozone is produced. The ozone
concentration around the emitter points depends on many factors such as the amount of
space around the ionising nozzle and the amount of compressed air. As a result, no general
ozone concentration value can be specified.
- The emitter points are sharp and may cause injury.
Danger:
- High voltages can be dangerous for people with a pacemaker.
Note:
- The device will lose its warranty if, changes or adjustments, etc. have been made or non-
original parts have been used for repair without prior written approval.
