SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, you should always take basic
safety measures. Always keep the following in mind:
• Read all instructions.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manu-
facturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard.
• The product may be used by children of 8 years and older and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability
or lack of experience and knowledge provided they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
• For the first operation, it is advisable to read the manual
carefully before hand and keep it properly for future use.
• Before the first operation, make sure the dust cup or the dust
bag is properly installed.
• Make sure the power supply is 220–240 V~, 50–60 Hz.
• Do not vacuum water and flammable material.
• Do not vacuum burning materials and/or ashes.
• Do not use the machine without a motor protection filter.
• Please change the dust bag immediately if it is damaged
or worn out.
• Failure to empty the dust bag and/or clean the filters may result
in overheating of the appliance and cause damage to the motor.
Therefore, it should be considered as a priority to ensure that
these are properly maintained.
• Do not store or use the machine close to high temperature places.
