Switch device and mixed gas coupling

Switch device (not for O
The switch device is used to switch between oxygen and mixed gas operation. In
mixed gas mode, a mixed gas is constantly dosed to the breathing circuit, while in
oxygen mode, the diver is supplied with gas only via the lung demand valve or the
manual bypass. The rotary switch is located at the lower left housing side when
worn on the front. The rotary switch is supplied on the one hand by the oxygen
cylinder under the rebreather, and on the other hand by the separate mixed-gas
cylinder, which is connected to the mixed gas connection of the rebreather via a
bayonet coupling. The mixed gas connection is located on the lower left side of the
rebreather.
Mixed gas coupling
The mixed gas coupling is a bayonet coupling that is self-closing on both sides. It is
attached to the lower left side of the housing, protrudes slightly out of the housing,
and is therefore easy to detect with your hands even when the rebreather is on.

Relief valve

The relief valve is located on the front of the dive unit and is used to release excess
gas during the dive. It is screwed into the device with a retaining nut. The valve has
a locking lug for exact positioning, which holds it securely in the correct position.
The valve is connected to the exhalation bag by means of a P-connector and
marked by a red O-ring. On the outside, the valve has an adjustment lever with
which the set pressure can be selected in five stages, depending on use. Inside
there are two valves through which the gas passes one after the other, a non-return
valve, and the adjustable exhalation valve.
