Additional safety instructions
Danger to life if diving depths are exceeded
If the maximum diving depths of the individual gas mixtures are exceeded, the
oxygen exerts a toxic effect on the diver. Cramps and unconsciousness can result.
The diver can no longer help himself or herself and may die underwater.
► Diving with mixed gas requires additional training. Observe training guidelines
for diving with mixed gas.
► Observe country-specific regulations and diving depths and time limits issued by
the competent authorities.
► Before each dive, check whether the gas mixture used is suitable for the
intended diving depth and whether the correct dosage has been set.
Fire and explosion hazard caused by oxygen
Oxygen can cause spontaneous combustion of oil and grease. This may result in a
fire or explosion.
► Keep the high-pressure connectors (plug-in connecting piece and cylinder
valve) as well as the O-rings in the pressure reducers and on the valves free of
oil and grease, or use a suitable oxygen grease.
