Preparations for use
4.1
Preparing for oxygen operation mode
4.1.1
Mounting the oxygen cylinder
1. Adjust belt length if necessary:
● Retaining bolt in position 1: Compressed gas cylinders with Ø 115 mm
● Retaining bolt in position 2: Compressed gas cylinders with Ø 137 mm and
2. Open belt buckle.
3. Push the oxygen cylinder into the cylinder recess at the bottom of the housing.
4. Screw the cylinder valve onto the pressure reducer (keep it free of oil and
grease!). Manual connection, do not use tools!
5. Close belt buckle.
4.1.2
Checking cylinder pressure and gas supply
1. Slowly open the cylinder valve(s) and read off value on the pressure gauge.
2. Close the cylinder valve(s). The pressure must be 200 bar. Lower pressure
shortens the dive time.
3. If necessary, top off the compressed gas cylinder(s) and repeat the test.
