4. Check pressure after 2 minutes. The cylinder pressure may not change
significantly.

Preparing for mixed gas operation

WARNING
Danger to life!
The rebreather and pressure reducer are aligned to each other ex-factory. If
another pressure reducer is used, there is a danger that the inhaled gas will not
meet the expected concentration.
► Only use pressure reducers that are aligned to the rebreather.
► If another pressure reducer is to be used, it must first be aligned to the
rebreather.
4.2.1

Mounting the mixed-gas cylinder

1. Prepare the mixed-gas cylinder for the desired carrying mode.
2. Screw the cylinder valve onto the pressure reducer of the mixed gas pneumatics
(keep free of oil and grease!). Manual connection, do not use tools!
3. Connect the medium-pressure line of the mixed-gas cylinder to the mixed-gas
connection (bayonet coupling).

The dosage can be checked with a dosage tester or with a test case.

– Dosage tester or test case
WARNING
Danger of oxygen deficiency!
Incorrect dosage can lead to an oxygen deficiency.
► Check dosage before each dive and use the rebreather only if dosage is within
tolerance.
1. Connect the medium pressure line of the mixing gas cylinder to the mixed gas
connection of the rebreather (bayonet coupling).
2. Set the rotary switch to mixed gas operation (rotary switch is vertical and in the
housing).

3. Remove the inhalation bag 2 from the lung demand valve and fold the breathing
bag to the side.
