7.1 CHOOSING THE FILTRATION SYSTEM
VAC3 o ers the choice of three di erent ltration options to suit all possible requirements:
HEPA + PRO-TECTA FILTER
High degree of ltration (Hepa + Pro-Tecta + Cyclonic Cone).
1. Highly-e cient ltration system: 99,97% e ciency in capturing particles to
a size of 3 microns.
2. Extended periods without the need for maintenance due to the Pro-Tecta
lter.
3. Simple maintenance assisted by the ease of removal and re-installation of
the Pro-Tecta and Hepa lters.
4. The option to use a standard plastic bag to collect the dust in the dust
container.
FILTER DUST BAG (Optional - No included - REF. RVAC30055-SC)
20L 5-ply dust bag made from special lter material.
1. Excellent ltration system
2. The dust is propelled into the interior of the dust bag by a valve so there is
no contact with the particles Once the bag is full simply remove it and replace
it with a new one.
SELF-CLEANING FILTER SYSTEM (Optional - No included - REF. RVAC30056-SC)
Dust bag made from lter material (te on-coated polyester) with a weight located at its centre causing it
to change position when the central vacuum is running: with the unit switched o the bag at rest forms
a conical shape with the weight facing downwards. When the central vacuum unit is switched on the
bag inverts before returning to the rest position once it is switched o again, thereby resulting in dust
attached to the lter bag dropping into the bin.

It is possible to combine the dust bag with the self-cleaning dust lter to extend the life of the dust bag
and, at the same time further increase the ltration e ciency of the system.
