Maintenance and Repair

MAVIG GmbH distributes its products through authorized dealers only. Those dealers possess the
necessary knowledge for servicing, maintenance and repair of the product. Please approach your
authorized dealer first in case you need any of the above mentioned services.
Maintenance has to be done according to the installation instructions MTH02OXX or GDM01OXX.
Risk of system crashing

RELEVANT Do not use tools to check the tightness of screws secured with Loctite
so could damage the fastening.
Risk of injury
If components have become loose or you are not sure whether the components
are still in good order, please advise the relevant service technician of the
company responsible for the installation.

Stop all use of the device until the damage is rectified:

MAVIG has carefully tested and validated all our products. Consequently, besides the warranty
period following your purchase of new systems, please be advised that in case our products are
properly handled and serviced according to the respective user manual, we expect them to have a
lifespan of 12 years as of their purchase. Without constituting any liability, we strongly recommend
that in order to continue to use our products after this 12 years' period you should have them
inspected according to the then valid MAVIG checklist by an experienced technician at minimum on
a yearly basis. If the product exceeds some wear limits during such inspection, it will need to be
dismounted and replaced. Failing to proceed so means user takes all responsibilities in case of
failure/incident related to the MAVIG product.

Calibration and Verification

Check for visible damage prior to usage of product. Do not use a damaged

A calibration has to be done according to the installation instructions MTH02OXX or GDM01OXX, if
necessary.

Warranty

Our general terms of business apply. These should be available to the operator latest after
completion of the sales contract.
MAVIG guarantees the safety and reliability of the product/ system solely on the following basis:
- The product/system is used solely for its intended purpose and its use complies with the
information provided in these instructions for use.
- Only original authorised replacement parts or accessories as specified by MAVIG are used.
The use of unauthorised parts holds unknown risks and must be avoided at all times.
- No unauthorised structural or other changes are to be made to the product/system.
Unauthorised changes or modifications to the product are prohibited for safety reasons.
- The product/system is regularly inspected and serviced at the specified times.
The manufacturer's warranty period for workmanship and materials is 24 months.
Disconnect the system from the mains.
Do not stand or work beneath the system!
