Read out the error memory and clear, if required.
Start the vehicle and take it for a test drive.
Affix the "ABT Power" sticker to the engine cover and the "ABT
Information" sticker to the hood lock support.
Gasoline engines only: Affix the "98 RON Super Plus" sticker to the
fuel filler flap.
Note: The AEC can stay fitted when a workshop carries out control
unit updates. The AEC does not interfere with communication with the
tester.
If the "MIL", "EPC", or "Preheat" lamps flash
on the instrument panel unit, there is an error
in the ABT AEC. In this case, please contact
ABT Sportsline GmbH.
