2 Current Consumption Information

The use of a performance upgrade by installing the AEC raises the
vehicle power consumption. Additional power flows. In addition, the
total power is dependent on the vehicle model, optional extras, or
similar. In individual cases, the power consumption may be
significantly higher.
Total power consumption determines the length of time the vehicle
stays ready to start without recharging the battery. In addition, this
time is dependent on battery age, battery charge level, and outdoor
temperature.
In general, we recommend charging the battery at fixed intervals on
all vehicles that are used at irregular intervals. This prolongs the
battery's service life.
If the vehicle remains idle for longer than one week, we recommend
replacing the AEC with a bridge adapter. This eliminates additional
power consumption. The vehicle stays in running order when the
adapter is fitted, which corresponds to the standard production status.
The bridge adapter can be purchased separately.
We also recommend you use a bridge adapter to travel abroad in
regions where fuel quality is poor.
