Display

There are three display modes. Which
mode is active at a particular time
depends on the operating state of the
data storage device.
– Basic operating status
– Search mode (during search or while
search results are displayed)
– Configuration mode (operating menu is
shown)

Line 1: Current date and time
Line 2: Date and time of the weighing

Line 4: Memory ID
Lines 5 through 8: Weighing data (4
lines maximum)
If only 2 lines are sent by the weighing
instrument, the data is displayed in
larger characters.

There are submenus
There are no settings to select
Press z to select a submenu
– A menu item in lower-case letters
indicates:
There are no submenus
A setting can be selected
Press l and then O to select
a setting
Z Return to next higher menu level
z Open next lower menu level
u Return to previous item on current
menu level
U Go to next item on current menu level
l Select the setting currently shown

Data Output

Output over the COM1 Port to the
Computer
The YAM02 data storage device is
equipped with a Sartorius Balance
Interface for communication with the
