wine must not be used under any circumstan-
ces, otherwise the patina will be damaged.
NOTE FOR USE
If you use the Pyron with the Pyron Plate and
the Grill Insert, the fire may occasionally go
out for a short time with a stronger smoke
development. This is caused by overfilling the
Pyron or insufficient air supply. To remedy the
problem, refill with small, dry woods or light
the smoke directly with a match. The smoke
will stop immediately.
CLEANING, CARE AND
STORAGE
Before storing the Grill Insert after use, first
let the fire in the Pyron burn down comple-
tely without adding wood. Do not pour water
on the extinguish the fire into the fire barrel,
but keep a bucket of have a bucket of sand
or a powder fire or a powder fire extinguisher.
When the Pyron Plate and Grill Insert have
cooled down, you can remove them from the
Pyron and clean them.
CLEANING AND CARE
Clean the Grill Insert with hot water after
each use and carefully remove any food re-
sidue with a sponge or scraper / spatula. To
preserve the patina of the plate and insert,
do not use detergent. Note that the Grill
Insert as well as the Pyron Plate together
with the support frame and cooking attach-
ment are made of untreated steel. Therefore,
dry the parts well after cleaning and grease
them with a high-heat oil to prevent possible
rusting.
STORAGE
Do not leave the Pyron and Pyron Plate in-

cluding all accessories unprotected outdoors.
Do not store the Grill Insert and the Pyron
Plate until they have cooled down completely
and have been cleaned. Always store them in
a dry place, ideally covered with a cloth, and
avoid moisture build-up and condensation.
Always store the Pyron Plate and the Grill
Insert separately from the Feuerhand Pyron.
The reaction of steel with stainless steel can
otherwise cause severe rusting on the Pyron,
the Grill Insert and the Pyron Plate. Please
clean, maintain and store the Feuerhand
Pyron according to the enclosed operating
instructions. Make sure that you also clean
the outside of the Pyron thoroughly after
using it with the Pyron Plate, as rust spots
can form on the outside of the Pyron due
to the combination of ash particles and air
humidity and possibly due to steel particles
being released.
WARRANTY
If used properly, the Grill Insert is guaranteed
for two years from the date of purchase. No
liability is accepted for improper use or mi-
suse of the Grill Insert. Please note that the
tarnishing of the steel and possible rusting
are not a defect. If the Grill Insert cannot be
used properly due to damage to the material
or manufacturing defects, you are entitled
to rectification of the defect. Contact your
retailer for this purpose.
