Please read all instructions carefully before using the machine for the first time.
• Improper use may cause injury
• Use the appliance indoors only for household purposes and store it unplugged when not in use
• Do not immerse the appliance - neither the head nor the jug - in water and do not put it in
the dishwasher as they contain electrical parts which may be damaged. Faults of this kind
are not covered by warranty.
• Children and persons requiring supervision should not use the appliance, keep it out of their reach.
• Pay particular attention to the sharp blades of the device both when using and cleaning it.
• Never lift the machine head while grinding, always wait until the motor stops.
• Be very careful when the machine is boiling water as steam released which may cause injuries. Raise
the head so that the escaping steam cannot cause injury. Wear heat-protective gloves and grip
the handle of the machine head from the direction of the jug handle to minimize the risk of injury.
• The total amount of raw material and water in the jug must not exceed the 1,2 litre level mark
on the inside of the jug and must not be below the minimum mark.
• At the end of its service life the appliance must be taken to a collection point for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipments. These collection points are mostly free
of charge for residential customers. By collecting and recycling your old appliances you
are making a significant contribution to the conservation of our natural resources and to
their environmentally friendly and healthy disposal. Do not dispose of your appliances as
household waste, do not throw them in the trash under any circumstances.
• By pressing the Start/Cancel button the programme can only be stopped for the first few
minutes until the appliance heats up the liquid. After that, the programme can only be
interrupted after unplugging the appliance from the wall socket.
• If the liquid is already hot and you interrupt the programme you must always wait until the
liquid has cooled down to room temperature. Only then should you restart the programme.
