9.3 Operating and controlling via mobile app
Use the mobile app to remotely operate and control the product.
Important:
You will generally operate the product during nighttime. To operate the product during daylight, you
must cover the solar panel to simulate nighttime.

Whenever the light switches off, the mobile app connection will be disconnected.

11 Cleaning
Important:
– Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions. They damage
the housing and can cause the product to malfunction.
– Do not immerse the product in water.
1. Switch the product off.
2. Let the product cool down to ambient temperature.
3. Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
4. Remove dust from the solar panel.
12 Maintenance
12.1 Replacing the rechargeable battery
Replace the rechargeable battery if the illumination time reduces significantly.
Important:
– Ensure no moisture enters the product.
– Never use a normal, non-rechargeable battery.

1. On the solar module, unlock the latch.
2. Lift the solar module up.
3. Replace the old rechargeable battery with the new battery. Install the new battery in the same direc-
tion as the old one.
4. Close the solar module and lock it.

13 Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory
guidelines.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from the
product. You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used (re-
chargeable) batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labeled with this symbol to indicate that disposal
in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd =
Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash
icon on the left).
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
