11. Legenest montieren
Schrauben: 1
Bringen Sie die Holzteile des Legenests in Position und verschrauben Sie diese mit den Schrauben 1.
Setzen Sie das Legenest hinter die beiden Positionierschrauben auf die Bodenplatte.
12. Kotbleche einlegen und Sitzstangenhalter montieren
Schrauben: 4, 5
Befestigen Sie die beiden Sitzstangenhalter an den Innenseiten der beiden Kotbleche mit den
Schrauben 5 und Muttern 4.
Legen Sie die Kotbleche in die Auflage ein und setzen Sie die Sitzstange in die Halterung.
13. Befestigungsschrauben für Futterautomat und Tränkeautomat anbringen
Bei Einsatz des original Kerbl Futterautomat Art. Nr. 70660 und der Kerbl Nippeltränke Art Nr. 70651
müssen zur Befestigung pro Seite vier Einschlagmuttern angebracht werden.
Schrauben: 11, 5
Setzen Sie eine Einschlagmutter 11 in die Bohrung auf Vorder- und Rückseite. Schlagen Sie die
Einschlagmutter mit einem Hammer ein.
TIPP: Von innen mit einem zweiten Hammer gegenhalten erleichtert das Einschlagen der Muttern.
Drehen Sie von Innen jeweils eine Schraube 5 in die Einschlagmutter ein.
14. Fensterscheiben abdichten
Ziehen Sie am Übergang zwischen Scheibe und Platte eine etwa 3-5 mm dicke Silikonfuge um das
Fenster abzudichten.
TIPP: Die Silikonfuge lässt sich mit dem Finger oder einem handelsüblichen Fugenabzieher glätten.
Dazu unbedingt Seifenwasser (ca. 1 EL handelsübliches Spülmittel auf 100 ml Wasser) als Trenn-
mittel verwenden (Zeigefinger oder Fugenabzieher mit dem Gemisch benetzen, um ein Anhaften des
Silikons zu vermeiden)

1. Base plate and substructure
Screws: 3, 9, 7
Insert the number 9 screwsthrough the 10 holes in the base plate (ensure the screw head is on the
smooth side of the plate).
Mount the two pipe bends and the handle and tighten the number 3 nuts by hand.
Place the holding plate for the chicken ladder between the pipe and plate as shown in the figure
(outer edge angled downwards).
Hammer the square of the screws into the plate and tighten the number 3 nuts with a wrench
(wrench size 10).
TIP: When tightening the nuts, press against the screw head from behind to prevent spinning. The
screw head must be completely driven into the plate before tightening the number 3 nuts so that
the screw cannot rotate with it.
Screw in the number 7 screws (needed for positioning the laying next later) to the two remaining
holes in the base plate.
TIP: Use a cordless drill for this.

2. Wheel axle brackets and wheels
Screws: 3, 8
Place the wheel axle brackets around the pipe bends. Screw the number 8 screw into the hole
and tighten the number 3 nut by hand.
• the upper bend must be directed inwards here
• the axle opening must point in the direction of the previously mounted handle
Insert the two wheels onto the axle and hook the axle into the wheel axle brackets.
