a) All the time press the material to be cut firmly to the bench and to the stop so that it
cannot swing and swivel while being cut. No wood dust may collect under the piece.
b) Make sure that all the attachment devices and locks are tight and no component is
allowed too much of free travel.
c) For cutting pieces not abutting the plate with their all surface, use supports, feeding
aids or another machine.

Make sure that chips will fall away along the side of the saw disc. If on the contrary, the chips
could get stuck in the disc and it would throw them off.

Never cut several pieces at a time.

Take special care when cutting large or very small pieces or pieces difficult to handle.
a) Use auxiliary supports (table, holders) for long pieces that tend to fall down from the
table when unsupported.
b) Never use this saw to cut pieces so small that they cannot be safely held with hand if
you put your index finger on the stop outer edge.
c) When cutting pieces of various profile, work so that the material cannot slip and get
jammed in the disc. The pieces of various profiles should either attach with all their
surface areas or it is necessary to hold them with a device that will prevent waggling,
turning or slipping during the course of cutting.
d) Round pieces, such as bars or tubes should be held firmly otherwise, they would spin
and there is a risk of the disc getting stuck. Always clamp round pieces in a proper
device.

No nails or foreign matters should be left in the cut pieces

Keep the viewers at a sufficient distance from your workplace and from the reach of the saw as
sawdust and chips may throw off.
20.
Never switch the trimming saw on without having removed any things from the bench but the
piece to be cut and necessary holding aids.

Wear protection hear pieces to prevent hearing impairment.

To prevent unexpected retracting in the disc:
1.
Do not wear gloves.
2.
Put off any jewellery and loose garments.
3.
If your hair is long, wear a hairnet
4.
Tuck long sleeves above the elbows.

To prevent injuries resulting from unintended switching the saw on, the machine has to be
disconnected from the source before any adjustment of the stop, the saw head, replacement of
the disc and accessories.
24.
To prevent injuries in result of electrical shock, do not touch the metal plug terminals when it is
to be taken out from the socket.
25.
Do not pull the cable for unplugging.
26.
Never apply detergents or lubricants on the disc when it is still running.
27.
To prevent fire, do not operate the saw close to the flammable liquids, vapours or gases.
28.
Prevent injuries caused by the use of improper accessories. Use recommended discs only.
When the saw is running:
Caution:
Despite any skill you may have obtained, be attentive in the course of the work as every
mistake may cause a severe injury.
