GAME SET UP AND INSTRUCTIONS
To assemble, insert the 5 arched poles into the 5 legs, with the net clips facing downwards, to form a complete circle.
Once the circle is complete, attach the net. The net must go over the top of the frame, around the outside edge
and then attached to the clips. It is easier to attach the net by attaching it to the frame at four points - in a square
formation. Start with one clip, then the opposite clip and then halfway between each of these points.
Continue to attach the remaining net to each clip until the net is attached to all clips (adjust positions as required).
The net should be even tighter once nished.
The game is meant to be played with two teams, with two players on each team. To practice you can play one on one
to increase your skill.
Game Play Rules
Start by ipping a coin to see which team goes rst. The winner of the coin toss will be the serving team.
Start the game by hitting the ball o the hand onto the net towards the opposing team. No spikes, hard or very soft
hits are allowed on the serve (the serve must be a playable hit). Each team can touch the ball up to three times
(the same player cannot hit the ball twice in a row) before the ball must hit the net and play passes to the other team.
The ball can be hit, slapped or spiked by a team member. Holding the ball is forbidden. The serving team continues to
serve until the opposing team wins a point and the serve switches to the other team.
Suggested game play is to play up to 21 points each game. The winner of two out of 3 games wins!
Points are awarded to the opposing team as follows:
• If the same player hits the ball two consecutive times
• If the ball is touched more than three times by the same team
• If the ball hits the ground without touching the net
• If the ball hits the ground after touching the net
• If the ball bounces twice on the net
• If the ball hits the rim instead of the net
• If a player catches the ball instead of hitting the ball
• If the net is touched or kicked during game play
• If an opposing player interferes with play
All players can move around the entire net, there are no boundaries. Players may use any part of their body to move
the ball, but cannot hold the ball at any time.
