4.1 Pressure vessel
The upper (1) and lower (2) parts of the accumulator must
be cleaned in compliance with material compatibility.
The interior of the upper (1) and lower (2) part of
the accumulator must be free of foreign bodies and
contaminants.
The opening on the oil side (sealing surface) must not be
damaged (e.g. scratches, corrosion).
The upper (1) and lower (2) part of the accumulator must be
free of impacts and other damage.
Damage on the sealing surfaces can result in leaks.
If external or internal damage is found, the accumulator
upper part (1) and accumulator lower part (2) must be
submitted to the manufacturer and, if necessary, the
relevant inspection authority, for appraisal before it is
reused.

4.2 Diaphragms
Re-vulcanisation or refinishing of the diaphragms (4a/4b) is
not permitted.
The membrane (4a/4b) is to be cleaned in a cleaning bath,
taking into consideration the compatibility of the material.
Check diaphragm (4a/4b) for damage and replace if
3a necessary.

4.3 Other parts

The other parts are to be cleaned in a cleaning bath, taking
into consideration the compatibility of the material.
Check other parts for damage and replace if necessary.
Replace the seal ring (6).
