Cleaning and service
Your STREAMLINER CENTRE SECONDS AUTOMATIC is a
true mechanical watch, with each of its components
manufactured from the finest materials. Wear in the moving
parts of mechanical watches is perfectly normal, but it can
lead to a slight residue building up in the movement. This
residue can combine with the oil in the bearings, which
may reduce the service life of individual parts. We therefore
recommend that you take your watch to an authorised
service point at least every five years for cleaning and
service. During this process, the case and movement of
your STREAMLINER CENTRE SECONDS AUTOMATIC will be
completely dismantled and then will be thoroughly cleaned,
recalibrated and lubricated.
