As the speed controller has to provide a lot of power appro-
priate receiver power supply has to be guaranteed, min. per
use 600 mAH and 5 cells each 1,2 V. In case the receiver
power supply is not sufficient your car starts jerking, motor
and controller are getting hot and the range of your remote
control is not sufficient.
Each controller has to be programmed onto
your remote control before first use!!!!!
The connection cables to the batteries should be short max.
10 cm. The controller belongs to the batteries not to the
motor.
A. Programming
1. The engine must be attached.
2. Radio switch on, control sticks out in Neutral Position refer
to drawing 1.
3. Erase the programming bridge (red jumper) at the
controller.
4. Connect the driving battery at the controller and the con-
troller at the receiver. While using BEC don't connect a recei-
ver battery.
5. After approx. 5 seconds you will hear a short audio signal
(peep). The controller registered the Neutral Position *.
6. Than bring the control stick into the engine full power posi-
tion. After approx. 5 seconds you will hear again a short
audio signal. Now the engine full power position was taken
up. If no signal sounds, either the rule stroke is too small (<
0,128ms) or the control stick was moved into the false direc-
tion. Remove driving and receiver battery. Select a longer
regulating distance or with the radio the channel invert
(reverse). Restart the adjustment procedure beginning with
point 4.
7. Subsequently, put the control stick into the desired opera-
ting mode ( refer to the three possibilities)
1. Possibility:
Pull the stick in full power position till the sound of a double
peep (approx. 5 sec.), than let go – you programmed succes-
sfully.
2. Possibility:
Full power with EMK brake – after the peep full power positi-
on, stick back into neutral position, waiting till you hear the
double peep (approx. 5 sec.). Full power with EMK brake is
programmed.
3. Possibility:
Full power with reverse and EMK brake. Starting from the full
power position pull the stick after the peep in one stage back-
wards down. Now you will hear the double peep (approx. 5
sec.). Full power with reverse and EMK brake is programmed
successfully. Let go the stick.
8. After the programming disconnect all components as recei-
ver and driving battery.
9. Put the red jumper on the controller again.
10. The controller is now ready.

Red jumper
Programming of the controller
The controller is suitable for 8 – 16 cells!
B. Programming engine run direction
1. Switch on radio, receiver and driving battery
2. Radio control stick must be in the engine out position (neu-
tral position)
3. By accelerating smoothly you will see whether the motor is
turning in right direction.
4. If necessary change the two blue connections (doesn't mat-
ter which one)
5. Now the motor should turn in the right direction.
Or, if you connect all components, in neutral position, erase
the red jumper and wait for the peep than put on the jumper
again. The motor should turn in right direction now.
C. Connection allocation
Driving current
= red = plus, black = minus
Engine
= blue, phase 1 to 3 (connect as you like)
Receiver (connection cable)
red = plus receiver battery
brown = minus receiver battery
yellow = impulse
D. BEC
Controllers except those with BEC switch off, if driving bat-
tery voltage drops below 0,9 V. The BEC version switches off,
if the driving battery voltage falls below 4,9 V. With RC-Car
software the under voltage cutoff is 3,2 V. The BEC can briefly
supply currents of about 3 A (permanent current approx. 0,5
A).
Attention
High input voltage and high power consumption (servos) can
overheat the BEC controller. This reduces the output voltage,
which can lead to malfunction of the remote control. Please
make sure that not too many consumers are connected and
that the servos don't run mechanically on impact, which cau-
ses additional high power consumption.
Generally it is recommended to connect a receiver battery as
additional buffer, thus the liability in operation is increased.
