Attention!
Always adjust the extension in small steps only (max. 3 clicks)
and in regards to dynamics, make sure that the joint is fully
extended.
The extension setting screw may never be turned in
completely, as complete extension of the prosthesis cannot
be achieved and the user may fall!
Attention!
The extension screw must never be unscrewed beyond the
end stop. This will result in loss of the extension function!

2. To adjust the extension resistance (E),
remove the front protection cover.
The prosthesis wearer must stand
with extended knee in upright posi-
tion. Turn the valve screw clockwise
with a 2 mm allen key to increase
the extension, until step length of
the prosthetic foot is equal to step
length of the other foot, considering
equal walking speed; and a harmo-
nic gait pattern is achieved. For a
faster stride on the prosthetic side,
please turn the valve screw counter-
clockwise.
For precise and simple adjustment,
the joint features clicking sounds;
6 clicks are one full turn. The basic
factory extension setting is 4 turns
or 24 clicks from fully inserted screw.
