Increase the axis friction by turning the
set screw clockwise with a 3 mm hex
head wrench (173P3/3).
Support for mechanical vernier
adjustments:
Resistance to movement between the
knee axis and the brake bushing can be
adjusted by the set screw. Use a 3 mm
hex head wrench (173P3/3).Noticeable
changes become already perceivable
with small operations of the screw. Those
which are too tight will cause the brake
to be activated even when not under
load. Settings which are too loose may
cause noise and lead to premature wear.
