Air conditioner AC 70
– If the cooling coils of the evaporator are dirty,
condensate cannot drain off properly. The cool-
ing coils become quickly dirty when the device is
operated in a dusty environment.
– The electrical system must be checked regularly
for signs of damage.
– In order to work properly and safely, the device's
air filters must be regularly checked and
cleaned.
– If the device is used for drying at construction
sites, it must be checked and cleaned after each
use; the air filter must be replaced at least once
a week.

Shutting down the device

To clean and check the device, proceed as follows:
a) Press the "ON/OFF" button at the control panel.
 The "ON/OFF" button goes out.
 The device is switched off.

Cleaning the housing

a) Clean the housing and the filter cover with a
damp, lint-free cloth and a mild detergent. The
original gloss can be restored with polish.
CAUTION! Wear respiratory protection and
safety gloves when cleaning the device.
 The housing is now cleaned.

Cleaning the air filter

The air filter must be checked and cleaned regularly
as the amount of wear and its condition depends on
the conditions in which it is used.
✓ Shut down the device and disconnect it from the
power mains.
✓ The device is now defrosted.
a) Remove the filter holder from the back of the
device. To do this, unscrew and remove both
the knurled screws and remove the filter holder
from the housing.
CAUTION! Wear protective gloves and respi-
ratory protection.

b) Remove the contaminated filter and clean it.
To do this, carefully clean the filter with pressur-
ised air or with a mild detergent and water. Let
the filter dry.
c) Insert the new or cleaned filter into the filter
holder (see List of wear and spare parts).
d) Mount the the filter holder, including the filter, in
the same way as it was installed at the factory.
 You have now cleaned the filter.

Cleaning the evaporator

Attention
Risk of damage from improper cleaning
Improper cleaning may damage the electric module
of the device.
a) Ensure that the electric module is always kept
dry.
✓ Shut down the device and disconnect it from the
power mains.
✓ The evaporator is now de-iced and dry.

a) Dismount the filter holder with the air filter, rear
panel and safety grille of the evaporator.
b) Clean the cooling coils on both sides using a
vacuum cleaner, pressurised air or the HEYLO
climate disinfectant (art. no.: 1800106).
In the event of greasy contaminants, you will need to
clean the cooling coil with water.
a) Spray the cooling coils with a spray bottle of
mild detergent and water.
