d) Make sure that the condensate can drain off
safely. Check whether the water tank is correct-
ly installed.
e) If necessary, read the operating hours counter
and record the value.
f) Install the device in accordance with the re-
quirements (see also Transport and installation
[ 29]).
g) Make sure that all instructions in the Operating
conditions [ 24] are adhered to.

a) Press the "ON/OFF" button at the control panel.
 The "ON/OFF" button illuminates green.
 NOTICE! If there is a start-up delay on the
compressor, the "ON/OFF" button will
flash once it is switched on.
 After the start-up delay has elapsed, the de-
vice will start operating automatically.
 The device is switched on.
Switching the device off
a) Press the "ON/OFF" button at the control panel.
 The "ON/OFF" button goes out.
b) If necessary, read the operating hours counter
and record the value.
 The device is switched off.
NOTICE
Downtimes
Empty the water tank if it is planned that the device
will be out of operation for some time.

Setting the mode
a) Set the mode in accordance with the require-
ments and install the device accordingly (see
also Control and display elements
Emptying the water tank
When the "ALARM" indicator illuminates, empty the
water tank. Also empty the tank when the device is
to be transported or put into storage.
Manually emptying the water tank
✓ The device is not in defrost mode ("dEFr." does
not appear on the display).
a) Remove the water tank from the side of the de-
vice.
b) Empty the water tank and re-insert it into the
device.
 The water tank is now empty.
Connecting the drain hose
Alternatively, the water tank can be emptied by con-
necting a drain hose.
a) Connect a hose (⌀ 5/8 inch/16 mm) to the con-
nection piece on the water tank.
b) Guide the drain hose into a drain or into a suffi-
ciently large and empty collection tank.
 The water tank is continually emptied.

Troubleshooting

For troubleshooting, observe the following general
rules :
– All work must be carried out by a trained and au-
thorised technician.
– Interventions may only be carried out by the
manufacturer or by persons authorised by the
manufacturer during the statutory warranty peri-
od.
a) Wear suitable protective clothing.
b) Before restarting the device, install all safety
devices as they were attached at the factory.
c) Check that the safety devices are working
properly.
d) After completing the tasks, remove all tools and
objects from the working area around the de-
vice.
