the device then operates continuously.
When the device is switched off, the indicator [ -
- ] appears on the display.
NOTICE! If the device is switched off and
switched on again immediately afterwards,
the compressor will not switch on immediate-
ly (the "ON/OFF" button flashes). After
3.5 minutes, the device restarts automatically.
– FAN SPEED button: Press the button to set the
fan speed (LOW = low speed / HIGH = high
speed).
– SET button▼/ ▲ : Press the SET ▲ button to
increase the target value and the SET ▼ button
to reduce the value.
The display indicator flashes and shows the set
target value. The value is saved a few seconds
after the respective button is pressed.
The device can be operated independently of the
temperature and humidity. Press the "▼" button
until "CONT" appears on the display and the de-
vice operates continuously.
– MODE button: Press this button to set the
mode:
– COOL: "COOLING" mode.
To install the device ready for this mode, see
Cooling mode [
– COOL: "COOLING" mode with the extraction
of warm air through the warm air outlet to the
outside (see Cooling mode with extraction of
warm air to the outside
of the device outside the room and extraction
of cool air through the cold air outlet to the
inside (see Cooling mode in recirculation
mode [ 30]).
– DRYER: "DRYING/DEHUMIDIFICATION"
mode.
– HOURS/TAC button: Press the "HOURS/TAC"
button to display the device's operating hours on
the display.
Operation with external thermostat
(accessory)
In "COOLING" mode, the device can be operated
automatically with an external thermostat. For this
purpose, the external thermostat must be connected
(see Transport and installation
– HOURS/TAC button – setting the temperature
on the thermostat: Press the "HOURS/TAC"
button for approx. 5 seconds and set the re-
quired temperature on the thermostat.
"RC" and the room temperature are displayed on
the control panel display.
The "COOL" indicator flashes during defrosting
or if the target temperature is reached.

15 Transport and
installation
The device has been assembled, configured and
tested at the factory. In order to avert the risk of
serious or fatal injury and damage to the device
during transport and installation, observe the follow-
ing:
– The device must be transported and installed by
a suitably qualified and authorised person.
– Transport routes must be sufficiently large for
safe passage.
DANGER
Danger to life from electric shock
Touching live parts can be fatal.
a) Before transporting the device to a different
location, switch it off at the ON/OFF button and
disconnect it from the power socket.
b) Never pull the device by the power cord; al-
ways move it by the handle provided.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to the device toppling
over
There is a serious risk of injury, if the device topples
over or falls during transport.
a) Wear safety footwear and protective gloves.
b) Hold the device by the handle and move it with
the help of the wheels.
NOTICE
Instructions for start-up
If the device has been transported in a horizontal
position, place it upright and leave it in this position
for minimum one hour.
Unpacking
a) Open the packaging at the top.
b) Remove the device and all the separate parts
from the cardboard box.
c) Check the delivery for completeness.
Report any transport damage or incomplete de-
livery to your dealer.
d) Dispose of the packaging in accordance with
the applicable statutory regulations.
Installing the device
a) Assemble the wheels, handle and the power
cord coil hooks.
