3. Feed the bus cable with the protective
conductor through the hole. Secure
the cable connection in the hole

4. Guide the bus cable in the unit to the
fan motor. Guide the unit in such a
way that it is not affected by heat
sources. Observe the cable routing for
the respective unit size [

1. Disconnect the dummy plug from the
fan motor and connect the bus cable
from the condensation hood

2. Check the cable routing to the ventila-
tion motor. If there is still any cable
length remaining, pull the bus cable
straight and secure the rest of the
cable in the electrical compartment
with a cable tie. Screw the cable con-
nection.
3. Fix the cable to the rear side of the unit
with the self-adhesive cable holders
supplied.
4. Connect the protective conductor
from the bus cable to the ground con-
nection on the housing of the steam

5. Mount the left side panel of the unit
(Combi-Duo: upper unit).

For Combi-Duo: First connect the second
bus cable in the lower unit before you con-
nect the condensation hood to the unit
(see } Combi-Duo: Additional connec-
tions).
5.2.3 Combi-Duo: Additional
connections
Only for Combi-Duo superstructures.
Using the add-on kit for Combi-Duo, the
UltraVent condensation hood can be con-
verted for operation for Combi-Duo.

Connect the additional, longer bus cable
from the Combi-Duo retrofit kit to the
control board of the condensation hood
and to the lower unit.

1. Loosen the 4 screws securing the heat
shield and remove the heat shield

2. Remove the left and right impact filter
[ Photo 9] and the cover to the elec-
trical compartment [
3. Loosen the 4 screws holding the elec-
tronics module and take out the elec-
tronics module [
