2. Using the control unit
2.1 Display in operating mode
Comes up briefly when device is switched on
and when changing from operating to set-up
mode.
The display of the current pH measurement is
visible in the first line of the display. The per-
centage figure after the pH figure shows at what
% performance the peristaltic dosing pump is
working to dose pH-Minus or pH-Plus.
If the display reads „—" instead of showing the
value, this means the pH electrode or the Rx-
probe or both are not connected properly to the
controller.

The second line of the display shows the tem-
perature and the redox potential alternately.

Changing between operating mode
and set-up mode:

The control unit is functional when in operating
mode. The currently measured values are dis-
played and as required, the dosing pumps are
activated.

means that an alarm value has been exceeded (↑)
or undershot (↓).

If „Limit" appears in a line, the security switch-
off for the parameter concerned has been acti-
vated. For deactivation, see sections 5.4 and 5.5

Set-up mode:
Press the Mode button once to enter set-up
mode. If you press Mode again, you return to
operating mode. Use the arrow keys to select
the desired option.
Stop controller: Function for interlocking the
dosing pumps
pH controller: Settings for pH-value control
Disinfection controller: Settings for disinfect-
ant dosing.
System settings: Entry of date and time, set-
tings for time delay at the
start-up and for dosing time
limit.
