Lower the head while the machine is switched
off.
Check whether the laser line is in line with the
sawing as marked on the workpiece.
Raise the head and switch on the machine.
Switch off the laser after use.
Sawing narrow workpieces (fig. A1)
1. Place the material to be cut on the sawing table
and make sure it is securely fixed so that it does
not move during sawing.
2. Slide the saw head back as far as possible and
lock the sliding rod by turning the locking knob
(27). Make sure that the locking handle of the
rotary table (23) and the right-angled locking
handle (24) have been tightened before you
start sawing.
3. Switch the machine on and allow the saw blade
to get up to speed.
4. Move the saw head downwards by pressing
softly while still allowing the saw to do most of
the work.
Sawing wide workpieces (fig. A2)
1. Unscrew the locking knob (27) of the sliding rod.
2. Pull the saw head towards you.
3. Switch the machine on and allow the saw blade
to get up to speed.
4. Allow the saw head to descend into the
workpiece.
5. Push the saw head all the way back.
6. Let go of the on/off switch. Wait until the saw
blade has come to a standstill before raising the
saw head.
Never pull the saw head towards you
when sawing.
Sawing a mitre cut (fig. A1)
1. Unscrew the table locking handle (23).
2. Pull up the mitre lock (24).
3. Set the mitre table (19) to the desired angle and
tighten the locking handle (24).
Sawing a bevel (fig. A1)
1. Unscrew the bevel locking handle (16) and tilt
the saw head to the left until the desired angle
has been reached.
2. Retighten the bevel locking handle (16).

Composite mitre sawing
Composite mitre sawing is a process whereby
vertical mitre sawing is combined with a bevel in a
workpiece.
Composite mitre sawing can be achieved by
simultaneously setting a mitre angle and a bevel.
Setting the sawing depth (fig. B3)
1. Slide the groove stop (31) forwards.
2. Unscrew the groove depth locking nut (30) in
order to unlock the blade depth adjustment
screw (23).
3. Lower the cutting arm to the desired depth.
4. Screw the groove depth locking nut (30) tight in
this position in order to lock the blade depth
adjustment screw (28).
TRANSPORT (FIG. A1, A2, B1, B2)
Lock the saw head in the lowest position if the saw
has to be transported.
1. Remove the plug from the socket.
2. Press the cutting arm down and pull out the lock
button (2). Screw the button tight to lock the saw
head in the lowest position.
3. Tighten the bevel lock (10) and the sliding rod
locking knob (22) properly.
4. Only lift the saw using the operating handle (3)
on the base.
Do not lift the saw using the guides.
MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the machine from the
mains supply before changing settings or
performing maintenance.
Make sure that, after changing the
settings, all Allen keys have been
removed and that all screws and bolts
have been tightened.
The device does not contain any parts which
have to be maintained by the user.
Keep the motor ventilation openings clean.
Make sure that all working operating elements
are free of dust.
Never clean the machine using water or
chemical cleaning agents.
