Mounting the gas cartridge to the Gas Cartridge Adapter CV300/470
(Part No. 144052)
1. Read the user instruction on the gas cartridge before you connect the gas
cartridge to the adapter.
2. Use the appropriate gas cartridge stand (CV300 small, CV470 large).
3. Press the
Gas Cartridge
Adapter into the
gas cartridge.
Don't open the valves before the tubing is connected to the FIREBOY
according to instructions.
7. Turn on the FIREBOY according the FIREBOY operating instructions.
Removing the gas cartridge from the Gas Cartridge Adapters
1. Turn off the FIREBOY.
2. Close both valves of the Gas Cartridge Adapter by turning them clockwise.
3. Hold the gas cartridge and turn the Gas Cartridge Adapter counter clockwise
about one sixth of a turn. Remove the gas cartridge.
Removing the Gas Cartridge Adapters from the FIREBOY
Before removing the Gas Cartridge Adapter make sure that all valves of
the Gas Cartridge Adapter are closed and the gas cartridge is removed.

4. Gently screw the
Gas Cartridge
Adapter clockwise
until you hear a
click about one
sixth of a turn.
Do not tighten the
adapter further, as
you may damage it.
5. Use the
Gas Cartridge
Adapter only in
upright position.

6. Open both
valves of the
Gas Cartridge
Adapter by
turning counter
clockwise as far
as the handle.
