Safety Precautions
Possible dangers if the safety precautions are not observed
The Gas Cartridge Adapters CP250 and CV300/470 are state-of-the-art with
respect to current technology and safety. Some danger may arise if untrained
personnel use them. All persons working with the FIREBOY and the Gas
Cartridge Adapters must have read and understood the operating and safety
instructions or must have been instructed by the supervisors so that safe
operation is guaranteed.
Changes in design or configuration
Changes to the Gas Cartridge Adapters are not allowed, neither in design nor in
any of their safety aspects. If alterations are made, INTEGRA Biosciences AG will
be relieved from all liability for any resulting damage.
Proper Use
 The described Gas Cartridge Adapters are only to be used with the
INTEGRA Biosciences AG FIREBOY eco and FIREBOY plus. They are
DVGW certified in combination with the FIREBOY only.
 Use only original parts from INTEGRA Biosciences AG for the Gas Cartridge
Adapters and the specified gas cartridges.
 The Gas Cartridge Adapters are only to be used in an environment with
temperatures from 10°C to 40°C.
 The Gas Cartridge Adapters may not be used without observation. If the Gas
Cartridge Adapters are not under observation, all valves of the Gas
Cartridge Adapters must be closed.
 If the Gas Cartridge Adapters are not in use, keep them free of dust or dirt
(obstruction of connectors).
 Full and empty gas cartridges should be stored in a well-ventilated area.
Installation of the Gas Cartridge Adapters
1. Prior to connecting the Gas Cartridge Adapter, consult the operating
instructions of the FIREBOY eco/plus.
2. Check the Gas Cartridge Adapter to make sure that the parts don't have
visual damages.
3. Turn off FIREBOY.
