As a precaution, we recommend descaling your product after using it 70 times. This coffee maker has a built-in
reminder set up. When an alternating display of "dESC" & "-ALE" appears, you should:
1. Fill the water tank with water + vinegar (1:1) or water + decalcifier according to the decalcifier product instructions.
2. Place the filter inside the basket and keep it there through the whole process.
3. Place the coffee jug with the lid on the warming plate.
4. Leave the descaling solution to work for approximately 15 minutes.
