4.2 Operating elements and connections

1 Power switch with indicator
Turns the unit on and off. When powered on, the blue
power indicator lights up.
2 Button MULTI ZONE ENABLE
Activates/deactivates the multi-zone function in the 2/7
mode (speaker switch operation). In the 7/2 mode
(amplifier switch operation) the multi-zone function cannot
be activated.
• Function deactivated: Only one of the speaker pairs can
be selected at a time.
• Function activated: Multiple speaker pairs can be
selected at the same time in any desired combination.
The yellow control LED lights up.
Caution! Only activate the multi-zone function for
applicable speakers (s. chapter Electrical Connection).
3 Button MUTE
Activates/deactivates the muting of the zones 1 to 7.
When activated, the red control LED lights up.

Button MASTER/SLAVE
Selects the unit that can be controlled by the remote
control when two units are connected in series. The
green control LEDs will indicate which setting is active.
• Master: The master unit can be controlled by the remote
control
• Slave: The slave unit be controlled by the remote
control
5 Button ZONE IN/OUT
To switch over between zone A and B for the zones 1 to
7 (it is not possible to select both at the same time). The
green control LEDs will indicate which setting is active.

Button IN/OUT MODE
Selects the operating mode of the unit. The green control
LEDs will indicate which setting is active.
• 2 IN (2/7 mode): Operation as speaker switch box with
2 inputs and 7 outputs
• 7 IN (7/2 mode): Operation as amplifier switch box with
7 inputs and 2 outputs
7 Infrared sensor for the remote control
8 Buttons ZONE OUT/IN
To switch over between the zones 1 to 7. The green
control LEDs will indicate which zone is active. In 2/7
mode (speaker switch operation), multiple zones can be
selected at the same time when the multi-zone function is
activated.
