Overview of the base

Displayed in standby mode to indicate handset is in
range of the base.
Flashes if you move out of range.
Displayed if ECO Mode is switched on
Handset ringer volume is Off.
Displayed in handsfree talk mode.
Answering machine is On.
An alarm is set.
The keypad is locked.

You have answering machine messages.
Indicates when the answering machine is on or off, and how
many messages you have.
You have SMS text messages.*

Navigating the menus

Your D811 has an easy to use menu system.
Each menu has a list of options, which you can see on the
menu map on the following page.
When the handset is switched on and in standby:
