Design and function

The Chicago Pneumatic PAC P 13 is a hydraulic
power pack designed for operating Chicago
Pneumatic hydraulic breakers and other work
tools. The power pack is fitted with a 13 HP Honda
GX 390 air cooled petrol engine with hydraulic
POD system (power on demand). The oil flow of
the PAC P 13 power pack is 20-30 l.p.m. (5-8 US
gal/min).
Note! The torque of the engine is reduced
when reducing the rpm. The power pack
can therefore not in all cases deliver the
maximum pressure at low rpm.

Signs and stickers on the
machine
Signs and stickers with important information
about personal safety and machine care are
mounted on the machine. The signs and stickers
must always be legible. New signs and stickers can
be ordered from the spare parts list.
Data plate
The data plate contains the following important
information:
1. Maximum permitted hydraulic oil flow.
2. Machine type.
3. Maximum permitted hydraulic pressure.
4. The warning symbol together with the book
symbol means that the user must read the
safety and operating instructions before the
machine is used for the first time.
5. Serial number.
