2.1.5 Rated current

The rated current I and the maximum authorised ambient temperature are crucial in terms of the maximum heating of the components

inside the Automatic Transfer Switch. In order to prevent the unintentional triggering of circuit breakers or causing damage to the
components of the Automatic Transfer Switch, these two parameters must remain within their authorised range.
The customer must ensure that the maximum permissible continuous operating current of 40 A is not exceeded, for example by installing
a 40 A miniature circuit breaker or a selective circuit breaker with 35 A upstream.
