The Vibration Total Value quoted in these instructions and the quoted noise emission values
were measured according to standardized measurement procedures and can be used to com-
pare one electric power tool with another. They can also be used to make an initial estimate of
the loading.
The quoted vibration and noise emissions can vary during actual use of the electric
power tool dependent on the way in which the electric power tool is used, in particular
what type of workpiece is being processed. Establish additional safety measures to
protect the operator which are based upon an estimate of the vibration loading during the actual
usage conditions (in doing so taking account of parts of the operating cycle, for example times in
which the electric power tool is switched and those in which it is switched on but not running
under load).
3 Function of the Unit

3.2 Main connection
Connect only to single-phase a.c. current and only to the system voltage indicated on the rating
plate. It is also possible to connect to sockets without an earthing contact as the design con-
forms to safety class II.
3.3 Commissioning
The ROCUT UKS 160/355 must be used only in a dry environment! During outdoor
operation, a ground fault circuit must be used!
Fix and secure the work piece/tube! The tube must be firmly anchored to prevent the
cutting end from moving, bending or falling down!
 Using the hand wheel (1), open the clamping arms (2) far enough so that the saw can be
slid from above or from the front onto the tube to be worked.
Make sure that the saw that is set on the tube sits on the tube's highest point or apex and
that the drive motor always points toward the end of the tube to be sawn off.
 Turn the hand wheel in the opposite direction to close the clamping arms and clasp the tube.
