Safety information

Please read, follow and retain the operating instructions! When passing on
the appliance, enclose these instructions.
This appliance is designed for the household or for similar, non-industrial
applications.
Non-industrial applications include e.g. use in employee rooms in shops,
offices, agricultural and other commercial businesses, as well as use by
guests in boarding houses, small hotels and similar dwellings.

Risk of electric shock and risk of fire!
Connect and operate the appliance only in accordance with the
specifications on the rating plate.
Children under 8 years of age must not operate the appliance. This
appliance may be used by children aged 8 or over and by people who
have reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or inadequate
experience and/or knowledge, provided they are supervised or have been
instructed on how to use the appliance safely and have understood the
resulting dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are
supervised.
Do not use the appliance if the power cord and/or appliance are
damaged. After using the appliance or if a fault develops, always pull out
the mains plug. To protect the user, all repairs to the appliance,
e.g. replacement of the power cord, should be carried out only by our
customer service.
Do not
bring the power cord into contact with hot parts,

pull the power cord over sharp edges,

carry the appliance by the power cord.

Before cleaning the appliance, pull out the mains plug.

Never immerse the appliance in water.
Do not use a steam cleaner.
Do not use on dripping wet hair or on synthetic hair.
Do not use near water which is in the bath, washbasin or
other vessels.
