8.1 By operator
CAUTION
Risk of damage to the device during cleaning!
› Do not use compressed air or high-pressure cleaners.
› Use a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush to remove dust from the fan cover and from the top of the
device on a regular basis.
› Remove dust from the ventilation inlets if necessary.
F Clean the housing.
8.2 By authorised electrician
WARNING
Risk of injury from starting fans!
If the device is not completely disconnected from the voltage source, the fan may start up unexpectedly and
sever or injure limbs.
› Make sure that the device is disconnected from all voltage sources before starting work on the device.
› After disconnecting from all voltage sources, wait at least 5 minutes before starting maintenance
activities.

1 Clean the heat sink.
2 Replace the fan.
3 Replace the overvoltage protection.
4 Shut down the device for maintenance/troubleshooting.
9 Decommissioning, disassembly and disposal
CAUTION
Risk to the environment if disposal is not carried out in the correct manner
For the most part, both the device and the corresponding transport packaging are made from recyclable raw
materials.
Unit: Do not dispose of faulty devices or accessories together with household waste. Ensure that the old
devices and any accessories are disposed of in a proper manner.
Packaging: Ensure that the transport packaging is disposed of properly.
