6.1.3 Remote Control (R)

You can switch the power unit on and off from a distance with a potential free contact.
This may be a PLC contact or a switch/relay.
The contact must be able to switch at least 20 VDC/100 mA
1 Remove the interconnection of terminal block X3.
2 Feed the wiring through the gland and lay it as far as possible from the HV terminal block.
Use the nylon clamp to guide the cable along the HV terminal block.
3 Connect the wiring to terminal block X3.
When this option is not used, the interconnection of terminal block X3 must always be in place.

6.2 Options H, R and D with optional HRD printed circuit board

6.2.1 Summary

The power unit can be equipped with an optional HRD printed circuit board.
It enables you to:
- H: Trigger an alarm signal if the high voltage fails
- R: RC contact, switch the power unit from a distance (not wireless)
- D: Detection circuit that switches off the high voltage in the event of an overload
High voltage detection (D) is always switched on with this optional printed circuit board.
The contacts of the HV alarm are depicted in alarm mode.
