4.1 Maximum load

The load of the power unit consists of the connected bars and the shielded connecting cable
used. These loads should be added to each other in order to calculate the power unit's total
load.
Attention:
• The maximum load for power units that are suitable either for 50 Hz or 60 Hz is
1500 pF.
• Power units that are suitable for 50/60 Hz have a maximum load of 1000pF.

The load of the H/HE/BW nozzles does not have to be taken into account.
Example, for a combination of:
- one MEB bar of 2 metres effective length (= 2 x 75 pF) with a 3-metre long shielded cable
(= 3 x 125 pF) is 150 + 375 = 525 pF load, and
- one P-Sh-N bar of 3 metres effective length (= 3 x 100 pF) with a 4-metre long shielded cable
(= 4 x 125 pF) is 300 + 500 = 800 pF load.
The power unit's total load will then be: 525 + 800 = 1325 pF.
