Switch off the engine before filling up
with fuel. Never fill up with fuel when the
engine is running or hot. Fire risk.

STARTING THE MACHINE

WARNING!
Do not start the machine before it is fully
assembled.
Before starting, move the machine at
least 10 metres from the area where it
was fuelled.
Never start or run the machine indoors or
in an enclosed area.
Never start the engine when the machine
is hanging in the harness. The machine
should be placed on the ground when
starting it.

before starting the machine the first time.

To start the engine, pull the starter cord
slowly until it catches (after 10–15 cm) and
then pull it all the way a few times.

Adjusting the chain tension
Switch off the engine and slacken the nut
holding the sprocket cover.
Pull the bar tip up.
Turn the tensioning screw (1) clockwise with
a screwdriver until the chain rests against
the underside of the bar.

Tighten the nut holding the sprocket cover.
New chains need to be tensioned more
often than chains that have been used for a
while. Check the chain tension according to
the instructions.
