PLEASE NOTE: Do not use water to clean the arm module and base station, please
use an alcohol wipe. However, the flexible strap is flexible.
PLEASE NOTE: After disconnecting the armband from the charging adapter, a
heartbeat warning signal will sound immediately until the heartbeat is found.
PLEASE NOTE: After use, connect the arm module to the charging adapter
immediately. Do not switch off the arm module during charging or during use. Only switch
off the arm module when returning it for service or during transport to a different location.
PLEASE NOTE: Please ensure the base station is never covered during use.
PLEASE NOTE: Please ensure that the base station is switched on before the arm
module is removed from the charging adapter. In order to verify that the base station is
working correctly, wait for the warning signal from the base station, indicating that the arm
module was removed from the charging adapter and has not (yet) detected a heartbeat.
After this, the arm module can be placed on the wearer's arm.

5.5 Transport

It may be that you wish to take the system to another location. When you remove the arm
module from the charging adapter for transportation, the green heartbeat LEDs on the arm
module will remain on. You should switch off the arm module to prevent the arm module
battery from losing power during transportation. Turn off the arm module using the on-off
switch on the dark underside, where you also turned the arm module on. Move the switch
to the outside of the arm module using a pen/pencil. The green heartbeat LEDs on the
underside of the arm module will now switch off. The arm module is now switched off and
can be transported without the battery becoming empty.
PLEASE NOTE: The arm module cannot be charged if it is switched off. The arm module
must be switched on to charge. If you wish to use the system again, you can use the on-off
switch to turn the arm module back on and charge it.
