Units with dark-on mode (normally open)
The receiver receives no transmitter light → LED is on, output
switched: object pre-sent (certain range).
The receiver receives very little transmitter light → LED flashes (1 Hz),
output switched: object present (uncertain range).
The receiver receives the transmitter light → LED off, output not
switched: no object detected.

Maintenance

Keep the lens of the sensor free from soiling. For cleaning do not use
any solvents or cleaning agents which could damage the plastic lens-
es.
