OneWaySlide is used for repositioning farther back and sideways in a chair/wheelchair. OneWaySlide is designed to glide
easily backward, but not forward. To make manoeuvring easier for caregivers, OneWaySlide features handles on both
sides and at the back. It is placed so that the patient remains sitting on it. OneWaySlide is available in several sizes.
SystemRoMedic is a series of different models of transfer assistive devices. The choice of assistive devices depends on
the transfer situation and the patient's functional capability and needs.
Functional inspection
Visual inspection
Check the condition and function of the assistive device regularly. Always inspect the product after laundering. Check to
ensure that seams and material are free from damage. Check to ensure that fabric is not worn or faded. If there are signs
of wear, the product must be discarded.

Test OneWaySlide's friction by rolling it and noting
how easily it glides. If possible, compare with a new
OneWaySlide.
Always read the manual
Always read the manuals for all assistive devices used during a transfer.
Keep the manual where it is accessible to users of the product.
Do not leave the patient unattended during a transfer situation.
Placement of OneWaySlide
Place OneWaySlide so that the open section is facing
the back of the wheelchair. Place the upper section
so that it sticks up a bit on the backrest of the wheel-
chair. This makes it easier for the caregiver to reach
the handles.

Test the seams and strength of the handles by
pulling the handles in different directions.
Tie the OneWaySlide to the rear frame tubing of
the wheelchair.
